Hey guys, can I bench bleed the brake master cylinder by using the bleeder nipples that come on the master cylinder or do I need to buy a kit so I can bleed off the holes where the metal lines connect? Thanks in advance.
Bleed the master in a vice, using a kit that should come with it, with plastic nipples and plastic tubes to redirect the fluid back into the reservoir.
My master cylinder came with plastic nipples that screw into the line connections, then short clear lines that hook on to those and are looped into the m/c reservior. Those are used for bench bleeding.

It didnt come with the plastic nipples and tubes. I bought one 15 years ago that did. So what are the bleeder nipples that are built into the master cylinder for? Ill see if napa has the bleeder kit that you guys have referenced.

The bleeders on the unit itself can be used for bleeding once it's installed, but you still have to bench bleed. My master has those same bleeders, and they really didn't get a whole lot of air out when I was doing my main system bleed.
