Default headlights

i could use any help i can get when i start my 68 vette the light go up on there own i put new air lines on and went by the instrustion i though i did every thing right but i have air pressure when light are on or off any idea's will help thanks

Make sure the over-ride button is pushed in.

my override is pushed in @ it still has pressure all the time

Pay close attention to the diagrahms, the diagrahm I have shows the red hose goes close to the diaphram on the relay valve, but it goes to the other end. The relay valve has a R on it at the bottom port, that goes to the rear of the actuator. It's also possible your relay valves are stuck or you arre not getting vacuum to them. You need vacuum to the diaphram on the relay vlave to close the lights.
