Hydro Boost brakes
Will the hydro boost unit from a Chevy astro or GM safari fit on a 75 with power brakes. How much modification do you need to do. I've heard nothing but good things about hydro boost brakes but don't want to spend $750.00 on brakes if a used unit will work.

Long as you get the lines too, and use 3/8 compression fittings out of solid brass from Lowes Depot, you can fit up the lines to work fine using the junkyard hoses you get with the HB unit....
just keep notes as to what vechicle you get them from....
as I understand the HB is a bolt in from those vans.....
MY unit of some years ago had to be drilled for 3/8 bolts to fit...no biggie...
and it's the ONLY way to finally actually 100% FIX the brakes on a shark....

Search "hydro" you will have a good days worth of reading. I am looking for a 95 Astro booster right now to do the conversion myself and looking forward to it. Still looks like about $350 to do it right.
