Rear Bumper/valance Question
I Want To Fit And Install My Rear Valance/ Exhaust Panel And Paint It While It Is On The Car.
Can You Install The Rear Bumpers With The Valance/exhaust Panel On The Car?
The Restroation Book Says To Put The Bumpers On First But There Seems No Reason To.

I suggest test fitting everything, then removing the bumpers for painting.

Halfmoon is right you should test -fit the bumpers before you paint.
You can paint the valance on the car but I think you get a better job painting it off the car. It's fairly easy to put it on without damaging the paint.
The bumpers are easier to install with the valance off, only because it's a little easier to get to all brackets that need to be adjusted and shimmed. But they can be put on with the valance already on.
