Mr Gasket has the Robert Shaws, so anywhere that sells MrG ought to have 'em.
While you're at it, IMHO it's too easy to check a stat for proper operation not to do so before installing. This can be accomplished by simply suspending it in a pot of slowly warming water and monitoring the temp with a candy thermometer or IR pyrometer to see where it opens.

ask me how I know. Installed a new one and guess what? Had to do it again since the 1st one didn't work Luckily the 2nd one WAS a Robert Shaw.
I recommend Stant. I had a Mr Gasket high-flow (Rebertshaw) for a year and eventually removed it and threw in trash. There was so much flow that the car ran too cool (180 installed) and also caused uneven engine operating temperatures (readings taken at cylinder heads with IR gun). In addition, there is a small passage in the Mr Gasket also allows water to flow even when the car is cold. It took forever for my car to warm up on cold days.
I know many praise the Robertshaw (not sure why), but it wasn't right for me.
Thank you all very much. Sounds like this will be an easy decision. Did Mr. Gasket buy out Robert Shaw or is the Mr. Gasket design a knock off of the original Robert Shaw design?

Was yours drilled or not drilled? I have seem some drilled with a 1/8 hole and some without, I think...

Mine was not drilled. I believe the ability to allow some flow was engineered into the Mr Gasket so that even if the stat fails (wont open) coolant can still flow.

I am getting ready to get rid of my 185 for the same reason. Car takes forever to warm up, even in warm weather. Its going to get to the 195 operating temperature anyway, so what difference does it make.
