The symptom: My lights don't dim - they are either on or off. As I twist the **** from full to dim, the interior lights go out complely ie. no progression from bright to dim, just on a off.
The problem: The dimmer switch has a coil that had been burned through on one of the loops - must have gotten real hot in there.
I wonder if it's such a good idea - running at anything less than full instrument light - because this dimmer coil certainly got hot enough to start a fire ...
