Default fuse block help..

ive got a problem that has probably been asked before.. but 180+ pages of questions and threads is a ton too look through.. i recently bought a 1979 vette, with all power options (that im aware of..) im working on the fuse block, or trying to. it has bus fuses, not the round ones.. and im trying to find a diagram that lists the proper sizes of fuses, and what each fuse is supposed to run. it would also help if this diagram listed which fuses were supposed to be hot 100% of the time.

as a side question... the car has heater strips on the back window, and i see no switch to turn it on. does the defrost switch on the ac panel control this? if not, what does? (there is a little toggle switch next to the ac panel... and i have no idea what that goes to. u push it up, it goes right back to middle, push down and same thing.)

any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated.
thanks in advance!!

Your rear window switch should be on the center console and should say on off. Sounds like somebody put an aftermarket switch in there.

The rear window defog is a momentary on/off switch. It turns a relay on/off in the center console to control the heavy current to the defogger. When it comes on, a small light in the center of the toggle comes on. That should be the correct switch.

Here's the 79' fuse box.
