So you're saying i should order it from vbp and then give it to Chuck to install? He does good work and all, but don't you think that this is an install that I could handle on my own with a lift, some new bushings, and a few wrenches or am I way off on this? (I've never done this before)
Just judging from what you said here, you can handle it. Its a pretty simple install. In fact, see the link below...it takes you through it.
One thing to be aware of is any change in ride height that might occur with the new spring. You may need to pick up longer bolts for the end links...any vendor should be able to help when you order a spring.
So three months after starting this thread, my new composite monospring is now installed. A buddy of mine helped me out and we got it all done in about 3 hours (not bad for 2 knuckleheads). Thanks for all the advice and special thanks to Rick for the Duntov recommendation!
