What would cause it to miss at about 3500 rpm and higher when I get on it pretty good. The car idles fine and runs good when driven easy.

I had a similar problem early last year. It turned out to be a timing problem. What are your timing measurements? What springs do you have on your weights?

Could also be plugs and/or their wires.

Problem with anything in the ignition system (coil, plug wires, rotor, cap, etc.....) or fuel starvation at higher rpm's.

Its probably timing. I never timed a car before. I bought a timing light and changed things and now its missing. You should have to pass a test before some tools are sold to you
