I know what you mean, there's a 71 or 72 that has been sitting on cinder blocks for at least five years now about two miles from my house. The guy won't fix it and won't sell it either. Just happy to see it rot away?
Yes yes that is important...I forgot to add that. :blueangel:
But then again, if you have the time/effort, and can keep motivated, so what if it takes you 5-6 years to peice it together bit by bit or so what if you have to pack your lunch for those years, and only buy food once a month. When you got done you'd have one awesome automobile, not to mention all the weight you would have lost...
i hate seeing vettes sitting there like that your right they are meant to be driven or if not garaged or covered..we have a guy down the street with a 67 i think been sitting there for 10 years outside and the motor is out of the car uncovered on the ground, hes been asked if hell sell it and his reply..ill restore it someday...
Awww, sad .... I see a couple over by me, as well .... a lot of orange and whites ...back yard treasures, is what I like to call them - perfect for winter projects.
Now, that little girl turns heads!!! Rocker panels should be black; RH mirror is a late addition; no rear letter kit that I can see, BUT SHE'S PRETTY! :yesnod:
We could have a deep and lasting relationship, she and I. Too bad her equally beautiful sister has been in my life for the past eighteen years. :)
Ahh, wasted vettes. Such a shame. Guy up the street from me has a 1972 he's been mowing around for the last 3 years  I asked him once when he was out mowing around it, and he said it's definitely NOT for sale.
My dad looked into a black 1969 for me that is in similar lawn ornament condition. Seems it belongs to this old couple's son. And, their son left home in the early 1970's for California. It's been sitting in their back yard since he left. They haven't moved it or heard from him since, but are keeping the car for him in case he ever comes home and wants it  (can you say we're in denial):nopity
