It finally came in after three months of waiting. I had been in contact with Pattie during the whole process. She kept me updated on development so thumbs up to those guys.
They are shipping it out with three U joints for the steering shaft. The slip joint still has not been perfected bug free yet, but they had told me I can upgrade to it when it is ready for production. Overall the rack looks very nice. To me it looks just like a Steeroids system with tie rod ends in lieu of helms. It will be a while till the wheels are rolling so I have no update on functionality, just fit and appearance.
I can take pics with it installed if you guys are interested this evening.
It's the same old design as sterroids, cheap stamped sheetmetal bracket and a grand am rack.
I don't know why it's so hard for these people to make a bracket out of something stronger than 10 gauge.
I used 1/4" plate and still put in two reinforcing ribs....
eh, design the damn thing correctly, and 1/8 inch is fine....you seen mine from 6 years ago, and it's fine with no changes other than raising the tie rods in the center link....where is Pete70L82 these daze?? long time no see that handle....
