Default Melrose Headers avail for LSx C3 swap

Just an update for you all. Melrose Long tube headers should be available within a couple weeks for those of you installing an LS motor into your C3. They will follow the same parameters of our C4 swap headers found here http://www.melroseheaders.com/produc...ers/C4_LSx.php . Headers will exhibit 3/8" thick CNC cut flanges, 1.75" primaries, 3" collectors, low carbon aluminized ceramic coated steel (avail. w/o ceramic coating). Fitment was done by Trey at Speedhound. Should you have any questions you may call him at Speedhound Perf., or ask here, I am sure he will jump in. Also, before you ask, the headers will only be available in 1 3/4".
Thanks Chris

Trey at Speedhound is the primary distributor on these, so I'll let him quote you. 3-4weeks.

These are introductory prices and I will run them for a little while.

uncoated $550
coated $700

I'll have a production pair in my hands by mid week next week. I'll be able to verify once and for all that they fit and are ready for ordering. I like to take my time and make sure everything is exactly the way I want it before I sell them to anyone else. Thanks for your patience everyone. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

O2 bungs are on the collector facing inwards for a good clean look.

Will these clear Z-bar setups or do you need a hydraulic clutch setup?

I see no reason for them not to clear a T56. You may have to be careful with where you run the hydraulic line, but you should do that anyway.

Eddie, They will clear the Zbar setup I designed using my motor plates and Zbar bracket. I can not say if they will work with anyone else's setup. My plates and Zbar bracket are $145 shipped.

Thanks to John for posting all these pictures of the headers in case you haven't seen his thread.

Contact me if you are interested in these. I already have two people on the list.

Thanks
Trey

Excellent news. The headers will be available in a few days for uncoated ones. I'll be contacting everyone that has already contacted me very shortly. Thanks.
