Had mine rebuilt by The Carb Shop and Lars and it still ran like crap. Have used Edelbrocks and Holley's sense and all have worked well. Ask him if he can turn it into a Holley.

Keith -
I did not "rebuild" your carb. You sent me a carb that had a few problems. I cleaned it, flushed out some debris, freed up a stuck power valve, and I test-ran it to verify that it ran. For this, I charged you $12.41 for shipping costs back on 6-3-2001. Your invoice reads as follows:
"Disassemble complete carb.
Clean out rust & contamination.
Free up jammed power valve.
Flush with IPA. Re-assemble,
set float level to .420", install
on engine and test-run to verify. N/C"
For you to state that your carb ran like crap after I "rebuilt" it is highly misleading.

Like was said on another recent post...
"Someone's going to camp" albeit this isn't "officially" breaking the rule, but definitely pissin' in the wrong corn flake bowl..
Yes, you are correct. My apologies. What I was attempting to say was even after much effort and and expert assistance, I was never able to get the carb to run correctly on my engine combo. I am sure the weak link was me at the time and after a few years of experience I could probably work out the bugs now.
