Default Rolling Chassis!

Another milestone achieved this week; I now have a rolling chassis to my mobile money pit.

New engine is in (still have to do a run-in), stainless steel brake & fuel lines, TA's rebuilt, empty bank account....

And the work continues.

Your pictures are very interesting!! Thanks for making them available for us to see. I know what you mean by 'empty bank account'. Playing with old cars can really eat up the $$$$.
Regards,
Alan

Really great job there. How did the trusses like holding the body up even with supports?. Also did you use the ratchet straps to winch it up?.
I am finishing one up myself, not as colorful though

The stripped down body is surprizingly light. The inch-up straps worked fine on the going up part...not sure how I'm going to let it down yet.
The trusses seemed to handle the weight just fine, but I setup lots of safety margin just to be sure. The trusses supported the entire body while I rolled the frame out from under it.
