Default bogs down

Here's the deal, my car hasn't been used for almost a year. Just the usual warm ups and that's it. Last weekend, I took it for a drive (100 miles R/T).
It was fine all the way except when I was driving back and on a hill, it started to bog down whenever I would gas it up. I followed a semi up the hill going 25mph. on level ground, I punched it and as if nothing ever happened.....what are your diagnosis?????

I was thinking that probably my carb's float might be sticking from not being used????

Could be. Check the choke operation as well. Make sure fuel is not dripping from the squirters. Floats will do that.Adjust float level and drive again. Good luck.
