I re-installed my rear speakers (installed by P/O) last week, but could not find a + sign on either terminal. Is there a way to determine the polarity in some other way? One of the terminals was smaller than the other, but that didn't mean anything to me. They were older Pioneers.
To test take a 1.5 volt battery and connect + from battery to a term on the speaker. Do the same for negative of battery. If woofer cone pushes outward your good. If woofer cone pushes inward your + & - need to be reversed.
