Default Trickflow G2 heads

Has anybody ever ran Trickflow g2 small block heads?? I bought them off e-bay about 6 years ago bare---turns out they were naked!!!a few guides & no seats.
I got laid off & put em on the shelf, now I'm looking to either sell them or get them completed. I read on the camaro forum that these were actually a better casting than their new heads, but they had some guide/geometry problems & discontinued.
I was thinking it may be cheaper to just go with the summit 200 cfm heads for $950 in the long run.
Right now I am a stock 75 smog motor with headers & 2.5 duals, I have a Dart airgap manifold, 800 cfm double pumper & the cam of my choice to install with these heads. I want to go 383, but may have to put that off a while.
Any info a plus.
Thanks, Stodd

I think they are no longer being made. My buddies shop did a 383 a few years back with these heads and valvetrain geometry was a DISASTER! We had to cut the guide plates, reposition them to get the rocker tips centered on the valve stems, weld the plates together again and other MISERABLE work to make them work. These heads have good flow but the valve angles leave a limited amount of potential before the valve notches break into the top piston ring lands as I recall. Ebay them and buy some BRODIX "IK" series heads for $699.
