front bumper removal advice
Taking my front bumper in prep for paint and came across a problem I hope someone can chiome in and suggest solution. One of the corner bolts of the bumper spins. Can't get it out. Evedently, the nut on the back og the bumper came loose. can anyone give me a suggestion how to hold the nut or get the bolt out? I thought about trying to tack weld it but it's such a small access area to get into. Any advice?????????

because there's a recessed bracket that holds the nut, i don't think that there's any way that you can hold the nut in order to loosen the bolt. the only solution i see is to cut the nut off the bolt and draw the bumper forward to remove. depending on the access, use a reciprocating saw or maybe a grinder. you may want to protect the fiber glass with some thin (1/2" or so) wood taped in place so you don't add extra cooling vent holes!
