My outside mirror fell out on my 1994 Chevy truck. Luckily it fell in the grass and did not break. I use 3M P/N 817433 to glur mine back on. That was 3 years ago. Works great. I am in the aircraft field, so I got some right before it went out of date for free. If you can not find any of the 817433, you could try the adhesive RTV sold at Home Depot or Lowes. Let me know what you do, and how it worked out.

get some mirror adhesive from home depot. some adhesives will ruin the mirrored backing and cause black spots. also, paint the edges of the mirror (where the mirrored backing starts) with a clear sealant such as urethane paint. water seeps under the backing and causes the black edges. tips i got from a glass/mirror installer.

btw, are you doing a burn out in reverse, or are you looking at someone you just ran over?
