yes
you have to hack the seat rails on the c4 to fit the c3 bottom rail... they fit
Some other guys on here have pics i think, i'm planning on doing it sometime or another

Here are some '91 Vette seats in my '71. You have to create a hybrid between the C4 and C3 tracks.
Important!!! If you're over 6ft tall your head will hit the T-tops! The C4 seats sit higher!!!

Just how hard is this? I never even thought about it. I loved the seats in my '86 vette. If they fit you could even get the power seats. Now that would be very nice for a weekend cruiser. Does anyone have pics or a procedure they could post or email? I am very interested in this swap on my '74.

Excellent zwede. I like those. My wife has a 96 and I love her seats. Think I'll try and find a set for my 82. Interesting comment about the height, I am exactly 6' and don't want to be bouncing off the tops! I may pull one of hers out and just kinda experiment.

Damn! Those are Sweet. Gotta do my whole interior anyway Why not do it right and as far as the seat height issue is concerned at 5' 3" I don't think I have anything to woory about. HA ! HA!

lets say you spend ~500 bucks on late model seats and get em refinished.,..

Zwede, love the seats - they look great! But you say they sit higher than the stock - could
I still get into my non tilt wheel car with them, or would I break my right leg trying to get in?
It's already kind of a tight fit as it is!

Well, my tilt wheel is adjusted pretty much straight and I don't tilt it up to get in&out. You probably want a 14" steering wheel, though. I'm using the leather wrapped one that looks like a late C3 wheel.
