Default Header Clearance

I just installed some Doug Thorley headers and when everything is said and done there will not be enough clearance to install the collector flange on the passenger side. (There needs to be about another 1/16 of an inch for the 2 flanges to mate correctly.)

Has anyone else had this problem?

I think the exhaust shop will be able to handle it, but I'm not sure if I like having the exhaust almost touching the fiberglass floor pans

The muffler shop should be able to cut the pipe off the flange and weld on one that's angled down for better clearance.

Default Is this a factory air car?

If it is factory air, I was wondering if you had any clearance issues with the compressor bracket, as I am considering this mod for my '72 350 with factory air?
