Default HEADER INSTALLATION
I am having my Hooker Headers installed on Saturday. I got the competition ones. I also ordered copper gaskets. Are the bolts that come with the headers good enough to use? If not, what would you recommend?

The car is a '77, 350 L-48.

The headers are 1 5/8 primaries, 3 inch collector.

Stage 8 locking bolts, once torqued they won't need to be retightened monthly

Someone on the forum said the stage 8 locking bolts are too long for a '77.

Is that true?

I used the bolts that came with them...and after retorquing a few times after installation...they don't back out.
