Fan clutches
I'm curious is anyone has used any aftermarket fan clutches like a Hayden with any long term success? The fan clutch I just removed from this kid's car is an unknown aftermarket with silicon leaking out of it from beneath the coil. I typically only use Delco parts for stuff like this but this kid is short on cash and the Hayden is half the cost but you typically get what you pay for too.

I have had mixed results. I have used Hayden clutches in some of my Dodge truck projects, and one or two have been fine and one has failed. Seems like a good quick fix if he's on a budget, but recommend he replace it with a good Delco clutch when he can afford it.

Never looked to see were it was made, but two years and it works although it is cool up here in Syracuse only crused two days in the low 90's with a/c on.
