!982 Collector w/hatchback
I have a friend trying to sell his 1982 COLLECTOR for $9,000.00...this seems like a good price for this car......I really want it however I'm like $5,000.00 short.....should I ****** this one up, go 5K in the hole, or wait for later when my funds are up to price???E-mail me if you want to see pictures :seeya I'ma suffering from that Italian disease "MIFUNSALO" :)

If its a nice car go for it, the CE is one of my favorite C3's. What kind of wheels are on your car? They look very sharp, do you have a larger pic you could send me?

I say go for it if it is in GOOD shape. Got mine cheap too and I'm "restoring" it when the money permits. They are a very rare car, the first Vette to cost over $20 K

I kind of like them. :D As far as price goes, like any other vette condition, condition, condition is what counts. ;) Personally I would not go 5 grand in debt for a 9 thousand dollar car especially since you already have what looks to be a very nice car.

The wheels are 17X8 Centerlines.....the tires are BFG G-Force they fit the C-3 perfect without spacers and remain inside the fender wells. Pictures are on the way.....Check your E-mail ............Aloha Cappy :seeya

I tell you man......I have that Italian sickness right now......MI-FUNS-ALO.....especially with this Christmas thing and Holiday crap....I can't believe I'm spending money on presents for humans when my poor car needs every penny I make......I'm so sick.....I got my first speeding ticket today....16 MPH over the speed limit.....16 day loss of driving privledges on the Hickam AFB and a fifty dollar fine....Military police.......I just put in the 5000 RPM pill and was testing the pull.....had he pinged me earlier...I would probably be blown to bits by a Daisy Cutter.... Headlines: Two million dollar bomb blows up crazy speeding Corvette...driver still hiding in cave, where-abouts-unknown at this time...however we have him surrounded. :seeya Aloha from Hawaii my friends, .... hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :seeya

Cappy, To bad about the speeding ticket. I got one a month ago driving my truck through a small town ( the Andy of Mayberry local cop got me). Went to court and had the ticket reduced from 14 mph over to 9 mph over. Cost me $75 bucks and 3 points. Last ticket was 10 years ago. Buy yourself a holiday gift and have fun. Have a great holiday.
