Does a TI coil require a coil capacitor. On points type systems I know that a capacitor mounts to the coil bracket on radio cars. Is this required on TI equipped vehicles? I was told that it is not required because a capacitor could interfere with the TI signal. Thanks
Mulchie,
As a added sidebar, there is an NCRS guy, Dave Fielder (I think?), who does work on TI ignitions. His forte is giving you your original TI box but with new, and updated electronics inside for a very reliable unit. The NCRS guys seem to rave about his work. I have no personel knowledge of the gentleman but perhaps he can help you.
