68 corvette hei dist. wiring
Installed hei distributor on my 68 vette, having wiring problem? The wire from the factory harness is a insulated wire that is red. I take it the previous owner just took the wire that was running from voltage regulator and used that as the power supplyto distributor. Problem is that the wire is burning because this wire is a resistance wire. I traced wire back to fuse panel, and it hooks to left side of fuse box that you can't access. I guess not a pro at wiring. What would be the best way to wire the distributor? Thanks for all the input.
