THANKS for everyone's help.

I have checked the bore on mine and they are within specs. I will rebuild them with parts from a CF sponsor. Using his advise I will either use dot3 or synthetic fluid.

Rebuilt mine this past winter... Got all of my parts from http://www.fastcorvette.com/PartsMain.htm
I was able to get everything I needed. I was very pleased and the brakes work well.

I just finished mine. It was very easy to do. The hardest part was retorquing the caliper bolts

After 20+ yrs owning my corvette and alot of brake problems almost always with the calipers.I would never put anything but oring pistons on ever again.Hav not had a problem in 5 yrs.[IMG][/IMG]

Is that paint or powder-coat?
If paint, what kind, and what was the prep process?
