Tach Problems

I bought a 74 and the tach does not work. Looked at the assembly manual and still no help in finding where the wires go (cannot find the wires coming out of the dash into the engine compartment). What should I be looking for and where do they go? Thanks

'74 has a manual/cable driven tach .
The cable goes from the distributor shaft to the tach.

Take The Cable Off At The Distributor. Have Some One Watch The Needle While You Spin Inner Cable By Hand. This Will Tell You Which Way To Look.
