Default Leaf Spring

While looking to see why my 74 leans to one side I found that the rear leaf spring is shot. Now the question is. Should I replace it with a 7 leaf or 9 leaf. I have done a lot of searching on this topic and mostly just came up with advise on composite springs and that is not an option hear. My car currently has a 9 leaf in it. The car is use mostly for cruising and will probably never see the track, but I do want it to handle very well in the corners.

I put 7 leaf on. Rides a little stiffer but I like it much better. Match to springs up front though as it changes handling and alignment.

I was looking to go with a 7 leaf this summer to better match the 550 lb front springs that I put on last summer. If Fuelie74 isn't interested, I am. Please let me know.

Thanks.
