Quick question.
...A quick one: what's the size of the thread of the stock bolts in a '77? I'm having a few probs with the nuts sent with my new composite larger minilites, they seem to be larger then they should, even if they screw well, the guy at the garage told me IF he applies max torque they won't hook perfectly...and it's already two sets arrived and tried.

This was the standard size for most all GM's of that era. Maybe a previous owner changed them.
