Heim joint question
Hi, I recently read a few threads about keeping heim joints lubricated, I'm wondering as to how important this is to the life of the heim joint and what kind of lubricant to use.
I also recently read that using heim joints in tie rods for steering is a very bad idea because there is too much wear on them and when they break you lose control, any validity to this claim?

I think all of us Steeroids guys will be following this one. I know there was never any comments about lubrication in the Steeroids documentation. I do know mine are still tight after 4000 miles.
