1968 door question.
Do the 68 doors have an alignment wedge that mates to a matching piece on the door opening? I noticed 2 holes in the door and 2 in the opening that look like they line up when the door is closed.
Corvette Central has a part # 283001 that looks like what I'm missing.
Anyone have a photo available of these on their doors? And which piece goes on the door, the brass or plastic piece?

On 72 convertible car there is at the door: DOOR GUIDE PIN #283160L
and at the post you have: DOOR GUIDE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY #283161
The #'s from corvette central but it's say 70-75.
