C-3 Broken Hood Release Cable
As I Was Installing/adjusting My Hood On My 69 I Was Wondering What Happens If The Cable Breaks?
I Believe You Can Get To The Drivers Side From The Wiper Door An Posibly Push The Lever From There But What If The Intermediate Cable Breaks Or Comes Off?
Please Satisfy My (morbid) Curiosity.

When reinstalling the hood, or adjusting it, I always tie a wire around the drivers side female lever mechanism and let it hang outside the car. This way I can pull the wire and open the hood if the internal hood pull release doesn't work. Of course this technique relies on the cable connecting the two hood female latch mechanisms not break.
