Default 78 Differential Code

I found the following stamped on the differential in a 78 pace car.
Can someone identify the ratio and such?

OK 110 W8E1 or EI

Thank you,

Verle

I agree with Rat...OK is the 3:08 posi code.

110 = is a julian date code; W = is the Warren assembly plan; 8 = year of production; and E = Eaton is the posi manufacturer.

so your differential was assemblied by the Warren plant on the 110th day of 1978 or approximately a late April 1978 manufactured differential.
