In my experience, which includes 3 different dyno sessions, the STS baffles are hands down the best. Do a search and you can read for days on this one. How much motor do you have?

I use sweet thunder, but I went to their web site to give you today and all their product are diffrent, Id expect them to have new products, but I cant even find the ones I have, sorry
but if their new ones are anything like their old ones then they are very un-restricted!!!
You have a motor similar to mine as I am at 614 at the flywheel. In my dyno work, anything 2.5 inches in diameter posed a huge restriction. The area of the baffles uncapped is over 3 inches. Someone a few years ago calculated the actual area. I think you would definitely need to run the baffles uncapped with your motor to not pose any restriction. They sound great as well. I can't comment on any of the newest mufflers like the sweet thunders or the max flows, but I did test a similar muffler called a Loback which was a 2.5 inch insert without louvres protuding into the flow and it was a huge restriction. My engine builder said that at my hp level and rpm potential, even a 3 inch would pose a restriction.
