Default cruise control and performance
took off after market cruise control this afternoon.didn't have time to drive it.is it possible that it could change performance?

Well, the 3 lbs that you took off could increase the qtr mile time by as much as .0000001 sec

Removing it won't do anything for "performance"...but not having it [and using it properly] might result in worse fuel mileage.

I'm ditching mine just to get rid of the Rube Goldberg linkages and unclutter the engine bay a bit.
