7029207 Carburetor with 0705 code
I read somewhere that there is at least one difference between 7029207 q-jets made in '69 and later 7029207 q-jet carburetors. Assuming that is correct and assuming that "matching numbers" is not the primary concern, would a 7029207 carburetor with date code 0705 be a better choice than the '69 vette 350/350 q-jet? When I say better, I mean: might the later replacement carburetor be of better quality (whatever that may b)?
By the way, I'm assuming that the code 0705 means that the carb was built in a later year than '69. If that's wrong, please let me know.
