wiper door trim

wiper door trim
72 coupe i just finnished putting back together , i am having a problem lining up the top trim on the wiper i just can,t seem to get it straight ,the hood aligns the grill aligns and the door is pretty straight also ,it is up about 1/8 in the rear but the trim piece is up about 1/2 any help?

Is the wiper door warped/ bent at all and affecting the trim piece? Also, are all the clips that fasten the trim to the door in the proper place? What are you using to judge your problem to be 1/2"?.

the rear trim is about 1/2 higher than fender trim ,i played with it today for a little while and decided that if i shim the upper bolt on the wiper door likage where it bolts thru the firewall it should straghten out the problem i;ll find out on monday ,anyone else have a similar problem
