1970 big block value
Guys
I looked at a 70 convertible for sale with 454 big block. The car is in good condition no body damage at all (a few minor stress cracks. No evidence of rivets popping the at the header bar. Paint is donnybrook green with tan interior The paint is decent but needs to be redone. Car has 111,000 miles VIN is 194670S401057 # on block is 70S401057 so it looks like original engine and it looks stock. Chrome is in excelllent condition and there is no apparent frame rust. What would be a reasonable price for this car.

For that kind of money, I'd expect the body to be free of defects and the paint to be fresh, the engine rebuilt and all componants correct.JMHO

If it has never been repainted that would actually be a plus. Original paint cars are rare, and valuable. I like shiny better, but to the collector, the original paint car is worth more. Still, if you are looking for a shiny driver, pass on it.
