torque values for the differential bolts?

My Corvette Shop Manual 1966-1982 also shows 50LBS.

And my Haynes Book also shows 50LBS.
So throw that sucker on there lol.

I have been going through the same thing except it is only the start lol. But I feel that the back end is the hardest part and everything else should be gravy lol. But please do not kill the dream lol.Everything is removed in the back and I do mean everything lol. Fuel tank,Trailing Arms the whole shabang lol. I just put my diff back in the car.
But I would like to say since you are there use the locating kit which is cheap and you might consider the mount to the snubber from the rubber to a solid mount. That way you never need to worry about the CLUNK lol.
You can get the whole Kit from Gulstrand
heres where im at right now.
my TAs are also stripped down as far as you can possibly go. im thinking those will either be relatively easy to put back together if i take my time, or itll be an absolute nightmare. after that though.... i can finally put my nice new VBP Grand Touring kit in.
i think your right though, the rear end does seem the worst. just looking at the front end and things dont look nearly as complicated.
