I recently bought my first vette, a 69 convertible. Every time I have driven it the brakes lock up & will not release. I have to loosen the fittings to the master cylinder & bleed pressure to get the front & rear brakes to release. It takes 10-15 min., just enough time for it to get warmed up, for the brakes to lock up. I replaced the master cylinder & bled the entire system. The power brakes were added about three years ago. The previous owner told me the rear brakes locked up on him once, so he had the rear completely redone. Has anyone else had a similar incident? What else could it be?
Only 2 things will do this.
As mentioned, the flex brake lines could bad and acting as one way check valves.
2nd, the master cylinder rod is either wrong or adjusted too long, not allowing for the master cylinder piston to return to it's normal, non activated position, and releasing pressure. This could either be between the cyl and the booster or the booster and the pedal assembly.

I had a 74 back in the eighties brakes would lock up you couldn't move the car at all turned out to be a small pinhole in the threads of the proportioning valve
