Default Doors

I have just completed replacing the outer door handles and the power door lock actuators. I am ready to put the door panels back on but I would like to replace the funky plastic sheet that was caulked to the inside of the door. I thought I remember seeing some options (Tyvek, foam) but I get so gosh darn may catalogs and magazines I cannot remember where I saw them. Any thoughts?

TIA

Most people just throw away the vacuum formed moisture barrier sheets. However if you still have original door panels, some sort of moisture protection is advised. If you have replacement door panels built on plastic, you probably don't need any moisture barrier. I know of only one vendor that sells replacement moisture barrrier sheets (Mid America). I don't know of any substitutes, unless you make some yourself.
