Ramfire has what looks like an offy breather on the back of his valve covers, there's still room there.

You could also do it like this, check the fitting on the pass. side valve cover, all the way on the front.

As for PCV you need to tap holes in the runners and connect them to a common pipe of some sort and from there you connect to the PCV valve. On the other side is a regular breather.

Same technique for IAC and vacuum connections, as you need them for some applications.

I dont care about PCV or the like. I am wondering how they fit under the runners.

I had been thinking about that for the vacuum system. You only really need to do one side, as dual plane intakes only pull vacuum from one side of the motor.

It's much cleaner if you tap the underside of the manifold, like a sneaky pete nitrous system.

Will a moon intake support 48mm DCOE carbs?
The ford cross manifolds will support 50mm.

It will fit but you'll have to hog out the manifold, std. size is around 45mm. Up to 55 will simply bolt up.

A moon is to small. The intake that I have is all meant for 50mm which is plenty for a sbc, but EFI doesn't need a venturi.

So your saying I should buy a Peirce manifold meant for the 48-50mm carb I need for a 5500rpm 396 small block?

Looks like the pierce unit is the same as the moon one and those on ebay for 500$ and less (seen them for 400 recently)

If you want a really large manifold, check out the crossram I posted above (the one for mech FI), it has 60mm throttle blades.

Last time I checked the DC&O unit has 45mm TBs??? The moon manifold can easily be hogged out, there's plenty of meat. The only area where you have to be careful is where the runners cross each other.

You can get DCOE in 40, 45, 48, 50 and 55mm.

I think the Grandsport was a 377 with 58mm carbs.
