Driver's brake light works intermittently on my '68. Had a buddy follow me to lunch today and says under normal conditions the left brake light doesn't work, unless the right turn signal is on. Right brake light, turn signal, and tail light always work. Left tail light and turn signal always work.

Definitely sounds like a grounding issue based on my experience, so I'll start inspecting ground wires, cleaning grounds, etc. Just thought I'd see if anyone else has solved this particular riddle and can offer a place to start first. Also, any other suggestions on what to check out would be appreciated!

I just had some what the same problem on my 76, I found that my left brake/tail light bulb was not making good connection in the socket. I had already cleaned the ground and was very happy to find it such a simple fix. Good Luck. Indy here also.
