Yes, first it was welded. I drilled 1/4" holes around then sort of spot welded it in place as the original. I used weld-thru primer on the mating side. Then after the welding was completed I used Seam-Sealer all the way around. I drilled 3/16" holes in the front and riveted the fiberglass toe-board to the front of the pan.
You can see where the "spot" welds were done in the tunnel area.
After finishing off the toeboard, priming and painting. In this shot I had the body off again but you don't need to to do the pans.
