Spherical rod ends
I remember reading a while back about someone replacing their strut rods with sprerical rod ends, and using washers to center the rod end in the brackets.
Light Racing--lightracing.com--sells adapter bushings that will help with this problem. These adapters also allow for using a larger, stronger rod end with the origional size bolts. I think I'm going to give them a try. Appears to be high quality products.
