Just put a new clutch. pressure plate and surfaced the flywheel and now the clutch chatters.
What could cause it or will it break in as there is only 100 miles so far.
I have seen that happen when the new disc is a tad to big for the flywheel. You will not be able to confirm that without taking it apart but it will show up when you look at it.
Mine was only over .25 at the most and happened as a result of changing to an aluminum flywheel and being in a hurry.
new pilot bushing and I did not check runout as it was fine before
Its a good idea to always check.I've had them come back up to .020 out. When you say chatter do you mean the car jerks as you take off or you can feel chatter in the clutch pedal?
The chatter is felt in the clutch pedal. Mostly felt in the downshift or when I start out and really feather the clutch pedal. When I let the clutch out strong it doesn't do it much or at all.
