Im trying to avoid all the math and buying a pushrod checker, because I dont think my setup is that extreme. I have a 268H comp cam, first gen trickflow heads TFS-31400001. And 1.5 ratio rockers.
Im trying to figure out what size guide plates and pushrods to go with. Does anyone have a similar setup?
Guideplates should come with those heads....if you don't have them, they are available from Trick Flow. When I had my Trick Flows, I had to use +.100 size pushrods for perfect fit.

Yeah but why wonder? Pushrod checkers are cheap & easy to use. This way you know for sure what you need. There are variables, even between 2 engines that are spec'd the same.

I'm +.100 on mine as well with the next cam up from the 268H and 1.52 roller rockers. If you go straight to buying the +.100 pushrods I'd still make sure and do the marker thing and confirm that they are they right size for your engine.

Better safe than sorry, the cost of a checker is insignificant in comparison to the cost of what could happen with the wrong pushrod length.
