hi a have a 1971 vet that needs body bushings installed, the passenger side, has one washer on top of the poly bushing to make it level , on the driver side number one body mount, it needs three washers, (shims) to make it the level, should I just tight it down with one washer in or put three in to make it level.
appreciate that, and it definately makes sense.
this has been so frustrating that now I'm going to have to walk away from it for a day or two.
Car sits almost dead level at the front fenders but is off 1 inch of level right vs. left all the way down the right side measuring from the shop floor to the bottom of the frame.
Springs are good and the bushings area great
My last option I guess is body mounts since all else is good and new.
Then I guess its off to the frame shop for a proffesional
