sidepipe installation
has anyone installed the hoker headers and sidepipes on an '82 crossfire? i'm considering installing them on my '82 crossfire, but don't know how to install them with no provisions for the AIR pump and o2 sensor. any help would be appreciated!

They're not emmission legal, so your AIR pump would need to be removed...If legal in your state.
As for an 02 sensor, you can buy the weld in bung from Summit or Jegs and weld it into one of the collectors.

I'm considering the same thing.
You may be done with inspection if the car is registered as a Classic/Historic vehicle.
Check your state Classic Vehicle laws.
Kellys~hotrods: Did you keep it or reverse back to stock? Will removing the air pump mess with the air flow to the fuel injectors?

Some states don't do emissions inspections on older vehicles. Missouri has gotten to the point where if there isn't an OBDII port, they don't bother. On an '82 with the Cross-Fire system intact, a bung for the O2 sensor will have to be welded onto one collector, other than that things should be pretty straightforward.
